Why Organic Meat?

Yes, organic meat is considerably more expensive than regular meat, but in the long run it may be a healthier choice. After all, nothing is more important than your health and well-being.

Organic meats have fewer toxins because they are hormone and chemical free. Additives, such as nitrates added to regular meat to give it an appetizing color are not present in organic meat –the long term effects of nitrates are not known to us.

Additionally, animals raised organically are raised in a humane manner. They can roam freely the way nature intended. In contrast, non-organic farms have large number of animals confined to small spaces for long periods leading to sickness and consequently use of antibiotics on their animals- which you end up consuming.

Moreover, artificial pesticides, artificial fertilizers, drugs, and genetically modified organisms are not permitted in organic farming. Organic meat is thus a healthier and a wholesome choice.
